Women are working in different offices and organizations to fulfill their needs and to raise their living standards. In the male dominant society, they often face bullying from their co-workers, bosses, and the staff they work with. Forbes published that 75% of the workers face bullying in their workplace. Certain studies mark the ratio to 96%. Many of you also have seen or might be experienced this to yourself. It may be of a different type for example the when your boss insults you in front of the whole staff and other employees. Team Leader took your work credit in front of others and degrades you. Co-workers spread false and hate about you and humiliate you in the firm. They do all these things to show them superior and consider it as their work to ruin your life. These are the most common examples of Workplace bullying. It is common for both males and females but males are a little bit stronger than females. The consequences of this are quite dangerous. It affects mental health and demolish your personality and work efficiency. It has long term effects on personality, your confidence decreases and your entire career is at risk. You become separate from your track. Start losing interest in work or organization because you are mentally traumatized and not ready to face all this shit every day.

Workplace bullying has a very harmful effect on the health of the person who is bullied. Certain people target others due to several reasons. This act is humiliating, tyrannize, and intimidating. It is the form of verbal abuse and preparatory, interfering in the work of their employees or co-workers.

  • Some social animals will target others to give them pain and disturbs their life.
  • It is a planned process in which a person or two is targeted in the firms at a specific time in a specific scenario.
  • The purpose is to grasp their resources. The term resources mean their work efficiency.
  • Mobbing and harassment is also included and interlinked with the Workplace Bullying

Some Signs of Being Bullied

  • Anxiety and Confusion are normal before going to the office for the first time and start working. On your first day, you go to the office with a lot of confusion, risks, questions, anxiousness, and anxiety. Some people also have physical illness before the start week. It also happens to certain people before Monday as they go to work after the weekend and are not ready for the workplace stress.
  • A sign of being bullied includes that you are often sideline by the co-workers in the office lunches and gathering and it affects your brain and you get in stress.
  • Certain people make a group and socially boycott about you and convince others not to talk to you. These people are often the old employees in the company and have strong links with the higher authorities. 
  • When you pass by the other offices or cabin, people start discussing and gossiping about you. They laugh at you for no reason and emotionally break you and make you confused about yourself.
  • The attitude of the boss towards you makes you weaker. He/ She yells at you in front of you or meetings disappoints you and in this way, you lose interest in work.
  • Your trust in others becomes less and the positive energy in you decreases. You become afraid to discuss anything with your partner, spouse or husband and with any friend and co-worker.
  • You are always in stress and did not feel excited about anything or lose interest in other activities.
  • You become the victim of criticism despite Hard work and loyalty.
  • Make you responsible for the other’s mistakes.
  • Team Leaders and Managers do not promote your work rather than take the credit.
